New Building

Rose Hill Historical Society’s New Building is Located at 106 S Main, Rose Hill, Ks 67133

By 2016, the Society’s buildings were at capacity with historical items and artifacts, so plans were made by Keith Cox and Mark Alley for a new larger building. Construction began on December 21, 2016, with funds generously loaned by Mark and Virginia Alley (loan paid in 2021). See more about the New Building’s construction process!

Under the watchful eye of Keith Cox, the New Building’s shell was completed and occupied by May 2, 2017, while the interior was completed in 2019. The New Building now houses historical Rose Hill artifacts including furniture, signage, automobiles, photos, school memorabilia, and much more to keep our rich history alive for generations to come. The New Buildings also has the beginnings of a genealogy lab!
